Kings Park

Magnificent views of the Swan River and Perth City. Take a walk through the native gardens over the tree top bridge and around the fountains. Enjoy a relaxing picnic, hire a bike or make use of the childrens play areas.

Swan River

Take a leisurely cruise up the Swan River to visit the vineyards of the Swan Valley or cruise down the river through the city to Fremantle.

Perth Zoo

Just the other side of the river and a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with animals from Australia and all over the world.

Subiaco

Cafes, restaurants, pubs and boutique shopping. Station St Markets, open Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays. Outdoor and undercover stalls with an array of interesting fares; flowers, souvenirs, clothes, fruit/vege and a garden courtyard surrounded with food stalls.

Rottnest Island

Just a short ferry ride from Perth or Fremantle and you are at magical Rottnest. The Island is surrounded by the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Some of the many activities on offer include bike riding, surfing, scuba diving, snorkelling and fishing. Meet the furry marsupials that live on the island - Quokkas, and explore the scenic beaches and inlets. As no cars are permitted on the Island a shuttle bus service is also available if biking isn't your thing.

Located in the City West Pavilion, this features approx 160 interactive exhibits for all the family to take part.

Museums & Art Galleries

Located in Northbridge are the West Australian Museum, The Institute of Contemporary Art and The Photographic Gallery of WA.

Perth Mint

See a gold pouring demonstration, a unique display of coins, nuggets and jewellery plus take home a souvenir.

Swan Valley

Take a drive or relax on a cruise up the meandering Swan River to the Swan Valley. Take your time visiting the many wineries, breweries and the Swan Valley Cheese Company.

Fremantle

Spend a day exploring the Fremantle Markets, The historic Fremantle Gaol (open daily 10-5pm), The Art Gallery of WA and The Maritime Museum (open daily 9.30 -5pm). Enjoy lunch by the fish markets then stroll around to the Little Creatures microbrewery.
